The strategy is to leverage First 5 Solano funds to bring additional funding into Solano County for services or providers supporting parents, caregivers, and families with children ages birth to five. The purpose of the Community Engagement Fund is to support community activities and events designed to inform and increase awareness among parents/primary caregivers about issues such as monthly children’s observances, childhood development topics and other relevant issues.

Co-Sponsorship of Training and Conferences Fund

The purpose of the Co-Sponsorship of Training and Conferences Fund is improve the capacity of individuals and organizations in Solano County to serve expectant parents, children birth to five years old and their families. Please note that Co-Sponsorship applications are reviewed by the Systems and Policy Committee for approval. Applications must be received by the dates listed below in order to be included for consideration at the next meeting. Applications received after the date listed, will be presented at the next meeting. Please note that approval for funds must occur prior to the date of the event.
