In this course you will learn the purpose of Excel and the basics of formulas and worksheet construction. You will learn the difference between relative and absolute cell references, how to create simple formulas and functions; you will lay the foundation for more complex functions in succeeding courses. You will create several worksheets including a budget which incorporate formulas, practice “what if analysis”, learn how to protect your worksheets, practice printing techniques, and learn valuable keyboard and mouse shortcuts. Finally, you will learn basic charting techniques.
