Introducing Outlook 2010
Learn how Outlook uses folders and how you can create your own. Learn how Outlook uses your Internet connection to help you send and receive email messages. Understand how to get around in Outlook and learn many of the features it offers to help you organize your personal information.
Sending and Receiving Email
Learn to exchange messages, documents, images and any other type of information with other email users. Learn the basics of sending, receiving, and replying to email messages. Learn various methods to delete, restore, move messages into different folders and flag messages for future attention.
Working with Contacts
Learn useful tools to manage names, email addresses, and other information about your correspondents. Create Contact Groups and assign categories to your contacts.
Using the Calendar
Outlook includes features that help you schedule appointments as well as holidays and conference dates. Manage reminders for these events. Learn to set recurring appointments to keep track of regularly schedule appointments without the need to manually enter each date. Outlook offers a wide variety of formats to print your calendar.
Working with Tasks and Notes
The tasks list gives you a flexible view of your to-do list. Learn to set up tasks to appear on a specific date and set reminders when a task comes due. Assign tasks to others but maintain them on your own Task list. Learn to create simple notes that serve a function similar to Post-it Notes to temporarily store small items of information.
