All dogs over the age of four months must be vaccinated for rabies and licensed within all jurisdiction within Solano County within 30 days of ownership/possession or new residence in Solano County. Persons living in unincorporated areas of the County are also required to license their dogs.  Cat licenses may be purchased on a voluntary basis.

Solano County requires dogs to wear the license tag at all times.
