Fouts Springs Youth Facility will be closed effective July 31, 2011. 

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all that have played a part in the successful operation of the facility for 52 years. The program was able to remain in operation for so many years due to the support of the Boards of Supervisors of Colusa, Solano and past Joint Powers Agreement Member Counties as well as counties throughout the state that have placed youth in the camp. Many lives have been changed at Fouts thanks to the work of the dedicated staff at the facility and the probation officers from each county who have monitored and supported each youth in the program.
