Evelyn Hopkins
                                                 Animal Care Manager

I started with the Sheriff's Office in 2020 as the Animal Care Supervisor and Veterinary Technician. I was promoted to Animal Care Manager in September 2024.

I began volunteering at local shelters while attending Yuba College. After working in private veterinary practices for 13 years, I missed shelter medicine and began working for the Sheriff's Office Animal Care Services.

I graduated from Yuba College with my Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology and graduated from St. Petersburg College with a Bachelors in Veterinary Technology Clinical and Hospital Management.
